Privacy notice

1. Who is responsible

Reality Skill is an independent project operated by Platon Belmont. For questions about this notice or personal information connected with the project, contact support@realityskill.com.

This notice covers realityskill.com, its English and Russian pages, the application forms, the general contact form and replies sent through the Reality Skill WordPress administration area.

2. What we collect

Contact messages

• Your name, email address, subject, message and selected site language.
• The page or source connected with the submission.
• Administrative notes, message status and replies sent from WordPress.

Reality Skill applications

• Your name, email address and other contact details you choose to provide.
• Professional context, decision experience, interests and reasons for applying.
• Availability, location, time zone, preferred language and online or local format preferences.
• Your answers about participation commitments, first-hand experience and examples of updating a view after new evidence.
• Administrative status, scheduling notes, cohort information and internal review notes.

Basic technical and security information

• Date and time of submission, browser identifier and basic server logs.
• A protected hash derived from the submitting IP address for abuse prevention. The application plugin does not store the raw IP address in its application or message tables, although hosting security logs may process it separately.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your question or application.

3. How we use information

Information is used only for purposes connected with operating Reality Skill:

• Answering questions and maintaining the resulting correspondence.
• Reviewing applications and communicating about possible participation.
• Organising local or online sessions, schedules and cohorts.
• Administering participation and improving the application and communication process.
• Protecting the website, forms and email systems from spam, fraud and technical abuse.
• Meeting legal obligations or responding to lawful requests when required.

We do not use contact or application data for unrelated advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. Legal grounds

Depending on the law that applies to you, processing may be based on one or more of the following:

• Your request and the steps needed to answer it or consider your application.
• Legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the project, balanced against your rights.
• Your consent where we specifically ask for it. You may withdraw that consent for future processing.
• A legal obligation where retention or disclosure is required by law.

5. AI and automated decisions

AI may be used within Reality Skill as a clearly identified research or red-team tool for testing information and models. It does not replace the human decision owner. If the handling of form data changes, this notice will be updated before that new use begins.

6. Sharing and service providers

Access is limited to people who need the information to operate Reality Skill. We may use service providers for hosting, security, DNS and email delivery.

• ScalaHosting hosts the WordPress website and support email infrastructure.
• Amazon Route 53 provides DNS routing. It does not receive the contents of application or contact forms through the form-submission process.
• Email providers used by you or by Reality Skill process message content and delivery metadata when emails are sent or received.

Providers may operate infrastructure in countries different from yours. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will rely on the safeguards available through the relevant provider and legal framework.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or security, or with your direction.

7. How long information is kept

We keep information according to its purpose rather than indefinitely:

• Contact messages and replies are kept while the question and reasonable follow-up remain active.
• Applications are kept through the relevant selection process and any reasonable follow-up.
• Participant and scheduling records may be kept while participation, outcome review or project administration continues.
• Security records may be kept as reasonably necessary to investigate abuse and protect the service.

Deletion is currently performed manually rather than by an automatic timer. Information may be kept longer when required for legal claims, accounting, security or another legal obligation. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until normal backup rotation removes them.

8. Cookies, forms and server logs

The Reality Skill application and contact forms do not require advertising cookies. WordPress, hosting and security systems may use strictly necessary cookies or logs to operate the website, maintain administrator sessions and prevent abuse.

If analytics, advertising cookies or a new tracking technology is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated.

9. Security

We use measures appropriate to the current project, including encrypted website and email connections, authenticated mail delivery, restricted WordPress administration, access controls and a protected hash rather than a raw IP address in form records.

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Please use the contact address below if you believe information connected with Reality Skill has been exposed or misused.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask us to:

• Confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide access to it.
• Correct incomplete or inaccurate information.
• Delete information that is no longer needed or is being processed unlawfully.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Provide information you supplied in a portable format where applicable.
• Withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the legal ground.

You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority that applies where you live. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

This notice may be updated when the project, website or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain on this page.
