For leadership teams
Independent first. Together next.
Give people the context they need to help, and capture their perspectives before they see everyone else’s conclusions. Reality Skill’s team decision-making software supports independent input, deliberate reveal, and evidence-linked discussion so you can explore what each person noticed before making an accountable commitment.

Establish a decision standard while preserving independent contribution and clear authority.
Independent input · interactive worked example
Hear the room before the room creates an answer.
See how a team can preserve distinct information before discussion and then turn disagreement into useful work.
Illustrative workflow · software can reduce influence pressure, not guarantee candour or eliminate groupthink.
Everyone receives the same decision question.
The decision owner shares the objective, known evidence, constraints, and the specific help needed. People are asked what they know, question, and would try.
Each perspective stays sealed while people contribute.
The CTO records a dependency risk. The COO notices an operational constraint. The commercial lead proposes a smaller launch. None can anchor the others yet.
Differences become the agenda for discussion.
The team sees where observations overlap, which assumptions conflict, and which alternative appeared only once. Minority views remain attributable and preserved.
The decision owner addresses the strongest disagreement.
The owner records what changed, what remains uncertain, the chosen move, and a Reality Date. Participation informs the decision; accountability stays named.
Use this pattern with your team
Your objective: write one decision question and provide the same material context to every contributor. Ask for observations, concerns, alternatives, and what would change their view. Reveal only after the required independent input is in.
Open your decision workspace →Protected feedback · accountable decisions
Hear the concern that might otherwise stay unsaid.
Independent input helps people think before the room influences them. Protected feedback adds a separate choice: an invited Team Room participant can raise a concern without attaching their name for teammates or company leaders to see.
- 01 · Contribute
Choose what carries your name.
Add a named or anonymous-to-team note alongside your structured team contribution. Explain the concern, supporting information, and an alternative worth considering.
- 02 · Examine
Give the concern a considered response.
Notes stay sealed during independent collection. After successful round reveal, new notes are available on refresh without a random publishing delay. The decision lead can record a response and its reason.
- 03 · Keep the record
Let the author choose whether to claim credit.
Only the author can voluntarily reveal their anonymous note. Leaders cannot reveal it through the company interface. Revealing one note does not identify the author of their other anonymous notes.
How moderation works without exposing the author
A company administrator who is also a current invited decision participant can hide a published note for abuse, exposed private information, or spam, with a recorded reason. Disagreement itself is not a moderation category. A visible placeholder, hidden-note count, and moderation history remain.
Current invited participants can request reconsideration without their name appearing on the appeal. The moderator can restore the note or uphold the decision with another explanation. Moderators can review preserved original text, but do not receive the anonymous author’s identity. Prior downloads and screenshots cannot be recalled.
Anonymous to your team—not untraceable. Wording, circumstances, small groups, or observing changes can suggest who wrote a note. Infrastructure operators retain technical access; hosting-log review remains outstanding. Software cannot guarantee protection from retaliation. Only reveal authorship if you freely choose to; use established escalation channels for urgent safety concerns.
Current scope: protected Team Room feedback is for authorized invited participants. The separate Company Consultation workflow gathers named or anonymous-to-audience input from 8–100 invited company members, without adding them to the core decision team or giving them decision authority. Access follows company permissions, not public access. Review the privacy and access boundaries.
Before discussion
Give everyone the context—without giving them the group’s answer.
Name the decision owner and explain the contribution and reveal rules. Share relevant context, then let each participant record unique knowledge, options, assumptions, predictions, concerns, and what would change their mind before seeing anyone else’s view. Entries remain separate until the reveal conditions are met.
- Shared case context
- Independent first response
- Predictions and confidence
- What would change a mind
During deliberation
Reveal difference instead of averaging it away.
Compare contributions side by side. Surface disagreement explicitly, discuss the underlying evidence, and retain dissent as part of the decision record.
- No inferred consensus
- Visible disagreement
- Evidence-linked discussion
- Durable dissent
After commitment
Leave with one accountable record.
The decision lead records the chosen path, owner, next action, forecast, and Reality Date. Later, the team returns to compare its expectations with the outcome.
- Decision authority stays human
- Owner and next action
- Forecast before outcome
- Team review loop
The problem this process addresses
Reduce the pressure to agree too soon.
See how independent input before discussion can preserve unique knowledge, reduce early anchoring, and make consequential disagreement easier to examine.

What people usually want to know.
How does Reality Skill reduce groupthink?
It creates space for team members to record independent views before discussion and keeps those views distinct through a deliberate reveal.
Does Reality Skill automatically calculate consensus?
No. It does not manufacture agreement from averages. The team sees areas of alignment and disagreement, while the named decision owner retains authority.
Who is Team Room access for?
Team Rooms are designed for leadership groups and other small decision teams working on consequential choices. Availability can be discussed for your use case.
